A citizen of Planet Earth with an imagination that's way out of this world. I'm no professional artist but drawing's my hobby. Been drawing for over 10 yrs and currently pursuing my dream of being a pro manga creator. I am a self-taught and self-driven artist.
Wondering why the "sama" honorific...?
Well there's nothing wrong with having a little self-esteem but that's not really the reason. At the age of 18, I was given the nickname "The Anime-Master" by my relatives and peers who knew about my passion for drawing manga & anime-characters.
Well for those who don't know abt Japanese honorifics, probably won't care, but for those who do, you should be aware that -sama is the equivalent of being called "Master".
Well coming to DA has indeed humbled me...just look at some of the artists I'm friends with...these guys/gals are amazing! ~to say the least.
Some of them have been around for much longer than me and have done so much more than I have accomplished from since I signed up here.
I've always wanted to start some kind of online activity that would involve other artists and fans of anime coming together to share stuff together. If I knew what I know now, I would have started it many years ago...but better late than never right..? I've created a group here on DA called PleasureBox, to try to materialize that dream. I've always wanted to have a team to work with on projects I have come up with.
Working titles are: (1) Project Sophia (2) Altered Niche (3) Pandemonia & (4) Stone Sanctuary.
I've grown weary of being in the shadows and so I've come to make my presence known to others online. I am training myself in doing Digital Art, something I've always wanted to be good at from since I started using computers. I use a plethora of software to do my work digitally, these entail: AutoDesk SketchBook Designer 2012, Adobe CS6, Clip Paint Studio and Paint Tool Sai.
The internet is about the only place now, where I can show others my work, since there's no market for it where I'm from. I've been discouraged many times from doing my own manga. I have a lot of original work just lying around...but it's old and I've decided to start things over.
